Epidemiologial Investigation Of Swine Coiccdium In Xintian County And Treatment Of Isosporosis In Piglets

All research data show that the Piglets coccidios is diarrhea has becomean important pathogen piglets one, but for along time the disease did not draw enough attention to you. To master Piglets coccidiosis current prevalence and types of distribution in XinTian county, We use saturated sugar-salt water solution floating method14different sizes coccidian piglets infeetion eondueted an initial investigation, from January to February2011.Results showed that the overall infection rate of coccidian were34.03%,28.57%,29.44%,32.63%,14.29%,31.62%,9.23%,23.76%,18.52%,28.79%,30.43%,35.00%,15.22%,22.73%, the average rate was28.27%; Ⅰ.suis Coccidia infection and its spore were30.25%,21.43%,16.75%,19.47%,9.52%,24.26%,9.23%,13.26%,14.81%,12.88%,22.46%,29.00%,10.87%,15.15%, the average rate was19.57%.In the Pig farms in the survey, Coccidia infection have shown Piglets positive,the highest infection rate was37.66%, Infection day mainly concentrated in11-20days,followed by21-30days,was29.56%; next was29.56%, again in1-10days;Ⅰ.suis Coccidia infection, and sporeageare mainly concentrated inll-20days, the infection rate was31.01%,In February to April2012, on the development of positive drug treatment of experimental farm, comparing treatment using two kinds of drugs, Sulfaquinoxaline,5%Toltrazuri, the experimental results show that the Toltrazuril is the best medicine for prevention and treatment of coccidiosis.
