The study on the effect of compound probiotics on rumen fermentation and serum biochemistry of sheep and productive performance of dairy cow through adding it to the diets, and then providing the theoretical basis for regarding compound probiotics as green feed additives of ruminant animal.Experiment1:effect of dietary compound probiotics on rumen fermentation in sheep. Four ruminally-fistulated sheep with similar body weight were used in a self-comparison design. The Control period and experiment period were divided into2periods and each period lasted for19days. Every sheep was added3g Compound Probiotics in the diet of experiment group every day. The results showed as follows:(1) After adding the compound probiotics in the diet, rumen pH were reduced by0.087than those of the control group (P<0.05), concentrations of ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) tend to reduce and concentration of methane were increased rarely (P>0.05).(2) Concentration of total volatile fatty acid(TVFA) and acetate and acetate to propionate ratios were all increased significantly than those of the control group after adding the compound probiotics in the diet (P<0.05); but the compound probiotics had no significant effects on propionate and butyrate.(3) Adding the compound probiotics in the diet had no significant effects on rumen velocity and diluenty ratively.(4) Compound Probiotics had no effects on the TP in the blood, but the concentration of ALB was reduced by17%(P<0.05) and the concentration of GLB was increased by30%(P>0.05).(5) The concentration of BUN were reduced by10%(P>0.05), the activity of GOT and GPT were increased by34%and21%(P=0.07).(6) After adding the compound probiotics in the diet, the concentration of MDA in serum were reduced by25.1%(P<0.05); but had no effect on SOD and T-AOC (P>0.05).(7) The concentration of GLU in the serum in the Experiment period were higher than Control Period (P<0.05), but TG, FFA and ALP were not changed. Adding the compound probiotics in the diet of sheep can improve rumen fermentation environment and boost rumen fermentation level. Adding Compound Probiotics in the dietary of sheep can increased slightly immune power and antioxidant power.Experiment2:effect of dietary compound probiotics on productive performance of dairy cow. The120cows with similar day in milk and weight and milk yield were divided into2groups randomly, the experiment lasted for100days, including10days pre-experiment. The results showed as follows:(1) the milk yield of the treat group was increased by5.4%and5.24than the control group between the60d and90d (P<0.05).(2)The fat ratio of treatment increased by3.21%and3.83%than the control group and it’s improved in90d (P<0.05); in the experiment group, the protein ratio were not changed (P>0.05); the lactose and non-fat solid of treatment were increased1.41%and1.35%in30d (P<0.05) respectively.(3) To contrast with control group, the SCC of treat group was reduced by8.98%,10.15%and21.14%in30d,60d and90d. It can be concluded that adding the compound probiotics in diets could improve the animal performance significantly and feed efficiency and boost up body’s ability of resisting disease.
