Colors of landscape plants is the carrier of landscape aesthetics. At present, there are manyapplication researches of landscape architecture plants’ color, but there are few researches aboutpsychological reactions of landscape plants. Based on data collection, this paper uses questionnairesurvey and electroencephalogram(EEG) measurement, analysis methods to research psychologicalreactions of landscape architecture plants’ color.The questionnaire survey results indicate: different colors of landscape plants give differentpsychological feelings; red has the most intense stimulation, followed by yellow, white, blue, green;green has the strongest ability to alleviate pressure and relax, followed by blue, white, yellow, red.Using SP-Mars Ⅱportable eletroencephalogarph, Monitoring and comparative studying thechange of human EEG in the stimulation of various landscape architecture color,the experimentalindicates:The alpha, beta power produce significant differences between the blank control group andvarious colors of landscape groups(P<0.05), and also produce significant difference between(greengroup and blue group)and red group(P<0.05). The alpha, beta power just achieve significant differenceamong other groups in some measure points. The change trend of the EEG on each measuring pointindicates that, the brain intense stimulation of various landscape plants in order are red,(yellow andwhite),(blue and green); the ability to release pressure and relax in order are (green and blue),(whiteand yellow), red.In landscape architecture design, only in grasping the basis of psychological reaction disciplineabout landscape plants, combining plant landscape use purpose, using plants color expertly, people cancreate scenic plants color landscape.
