In this study, the immunology index of different varieties and strain weaning rabbits in northwestarea of Hebei were compared and analysed under routine feeding condition, and attempt to reflect thedifferences of immune function between varieties. These results provide the theory basis to theimprovement of rabbit immunization programs, the prevention and treatment of disease.The140of4-week-old health Saibei rabbits A strain, Saibei rabbit B strain, Saibei Rabbit C strain,Chinchilla rabbit, California rabbit, rex rabbit were chosen respectively, and fed under normalconditions. Each species was randomly divided into two groups,100in group one, and40in group two,half-male and half-female. Two groups of experimental rabbits were immune rabbit plague Pasteurellabivalent vaccine at5–week-old. The rabbits of group two were infected with Pasteurella artificial at9-week-old, while the rabbits of group one were injected with saline. The bloods were collected from20rabbits in group one (half-male and half-female) on5,7,9,11and13weeks. The red blood cells (RBC),leukocytes (WBC), lymphocyte ratio (LYM) and the ratio of neutrophils (GRM) were measured with G.TEC CA-800automatic3-part hematology analyzer. The percentage of T lymphocytes in the blood wasmeasured with α-naphthyl acetate esterase method (ANAE method). The level of lymphocytetransformation was measured with CCK-8(Cell Counting Kit-8). The red blood cell C3b receptorrosette (C3bR) rate and red cell immune complex rosette (ICR) rate also were measured. The levels ofserum total protein, immunoglobulin IgG, IgM, IgA were measured with Aeroset automatic biochemicalanalyzer. The thymus index and spleen index of healthy animals were measured on13-week-old. Thestatistics of mortality and above relative blood index was done on11,13weeks in group two.The similarity was found in each rabbit breed during its development from5to13weeks of age,RBC,WBC values were within a certain range, WBC was higherr at5weeks of age in all rabbit breed(P <0.05); WBC decreased and LY%increased at7weeks of age, LY%downed and stabilized at11,13weeks of age, LY%and GR%of all varieties at the same weeks of age were closer; WBC, LY%couldincrease while GR%could decline by artificial infection with Pasteurella, RBC of Saibei rabbit A strainwas higher compared with other species during development. Percentage of T lymphocytes increasedconsiderably from5to7weeks of age (P <0.05), and the change stabilized after9weeks of age.Thechange of T lymphocyte percentage of all varieties decreased slightly compared with healthy rabbitsafter artificial infection with Pasteurella(P<0.05).The response of T lymphocytes in blood samples to PHA enhanced after immunization of therabbit plague pasteurellosis bivalent vaccine two weeks in each group of rabbits, and reached thehighest value in the four weeks, and then began to decline. The stimulation index of blood sampleobviously increased in2,4and6weeks of age after the immunization (P <0.05). The results indicatepasteurellosis pasteurellosis bivalent vaccine can significantly promote T lymphocyte transformation,improve immune function,and the stimulation index decreased after infected with pasteurella (p <0.05).E-C3bR rates of red blood cells declined, E-ICR significantly increased (P <0.05) from5-9week-old,and the changes were stable to11,13weeks of age. E-C3bR rates of red blood cells obviously declined(P <0.05) after artificial infection Pasteurella, and the decline in Saibei rabbit species was more significant than others. E-ICR increased obviously in all rabbit breed (P <0.05). The results show theE-C3bR rate of red blood cells and the E-ICR rate present a certain degree of negative correlation. TheE-C3bR rate decreases with the increased age.The rabbit serum total protein content increased slightly, and serum globulin signally increased on5to13-week-old. The results show the increased total protein mainly provided by serum globulin. Thelevels of immunoglobulin IgG, IgM, IgA were lower in5-week-old rabbits of all varieties. The changesof IgG, IgM and IgA accord with growth and decline regular law. The IgG, IgM increased signally in allvarieties of rabbits after artificial infected with Pasteurella two weeks (P <0.05).The weight of immune organs has some differences on13weeks of age (P <0.05), but spleen indexand thymus index of all rabbit varieties were no significant difference (P>0.05). The death rate was thelowest in Saibei rabbit C strain infected with pasteurella. The result shows Saibei rabbit C strain has astrong resistance to pasteurella C51-3.The immunological indexes changes of different rabbit breed have a certain regulation in northwestHebei. Part of the immunological differences exist in different rabbit species and strains. Afterartificially infected with Pasteurella C51-3, Saibei rabbit C strain has a greater anti-inflammatorysuperiority.
