Swainsona formosa (Sturt desert pea) as a kind of Australian flower,has strange flower shape, bright colors, many varieties, and has become a new Australian export flower. The introduction of Sturt desert pea, it will not only enrich the category of our country flowers’export, at the same time because Sturt desert pea drought tolerance, adaptability is strong, if the introduction of Sturt desert pea can succeed in China and promote the growth and cultivation, it will be a certain extent about the desert region of the green, has the important ecological significance. But in our country, about Sturt desert pea there is not exhaustive scientific research and production practice of technology. This experiment include mainly cultivated phenological observation in Beijing, growth measurement and the growth situation of plants in different seasons in one year, grasp Sturt desert pea’s the growth and development regularity in the introduction place, provides the basic theory of information for Sturt desert pea’s introduction. In Sturt desert pea’s salt stress research, morphological observation and determination of physiological index will help us understand Sturt desert pea’s salt tolerance, the main results are as follows:1、Through the cultivation observation in2011, Sturt desert pea enters thebudding period after seeding3-5days, from infancy to grow2leaves it probably need13-15days; to achieve10leaves stage, about needs30-45days. In2010greenhouse cultivation, there is a pot of blossom, in2011only the first batch of transplanting plants found two strains of blossom, other batches of transplanting didn’t find blossom. Sturt desert pea’s plant height and crown growth have a certain relationship with monthly precipitation and monthly average temperature, precipitation is easy to cause Sturt desert pea prevalence. Aphid harms Sturt desert pea in field cultivation. Experiments have found that agricultural streptomycin have reduce damping off at6%,10%imidacloprid can kill aphids very well.2、Different pretreatment on seed germination of Sturt desert pea has a certain role. The water temperature of40℃treatment can significantly improve the germination of Sturt desert pea. Different NaCl treatment showed Sturt desert pea seeds has salt tolerance, in which the concentrations of0.1%compared to controls significantly increased the germination rate and germination potential, but high concentration of salt solution will severely inhibit its germination.3 kinds of plant growth regulator could promote the germination of Sturt desert pea, which20mg/L GA3treatment germination potential and germination rate is highest, can improve the germination of Sturt desert pea. The desert in soil bean mixture germination rate is higher. When HgCl2disinfect for6min, Sturt pea has the highest germination rate, MS+6-BA0.5mg/L+2,4-D0.1mg/L culture medium is suit for induction callus, MS+6-BA0.5mg/L+NAA0.5mg/L is suit for induction of multiple shoot clumps.3、Under salt stress, the mortality of Sturt desert pea with increasing time and concentration is gradually height, the higher the concentration, the greater the damage to plants, but also found50mmol/L concentration of salt stress on plants the Sturt desert pea’s growing is even better than the CK. After the determination of physiological index analysis, when stress concentration is same, the relative conductivity and peroxidase content increase with time gradually increased; MDA content, chlorophyll content, soluble protein content first increased then drop as time increased; peroxidase concentration rises gradually increased; SOD as the stress time increasing gradually declined trend, which stress for5days and20days between the activity of SOD had significant difference. Stress the same days,50,150mmol/L relative conductivity is significant; peroxidase activity in200mmol/L salt solution with other stress concentrations showed a remarkable difference; SOD in stress for5days,200mmol/L salt solution under the stress of SOD activity is significantly higher than the treatment concentration, stress for20days, various concentrations between SOD activity had no significant difference in CK; in5,10days, the soluble protein content was significantly higher than other treatment concentration. Proline in the stress of5days and10days, leaf proline content increases gradually with salt solution concentration; and stress in15days and20days, leaf proline content first increased and then drop with salt solution concentration. Through all of the physiological index correlation analysis, the experiment show that the cell membrane permeability, content of proline, chlorophyll POD content can be used as salt tolerance identification indicators about Sturt desert pea, and MDA, soluble protein, SOD content can be used as salt tolerance index.The results of the study for the introduction, cultivation of Sturt desert pea provide the technical basis of the scientific, but also laid a solid foundation for the promotion of cultivation of Sturt desert pea.
