Since the reform and opening up, the development of social and economic changerapidly. In project management, due to poor management of communicationproject schedule is blocked, rising costs, emerge in an endless stream. How toimprove the project management organization structure, optimize the mode ofcommunication and communication channels become in project management is animportant research topic.In this paper, basic theory and method of management communication and basedon project management, detailed research on engineering project management in theprocess of communication management process. Discusses the concept ofcommunication management, communication management, communicationmanagement, content management of communication channels. At the same time, thetheoretical basis of related research achievements at home and abroad, to the south,and the reservoir reinforcement project as the research object, a detailed analysis ofthe status of this project communication management, analyses the obstacles ofvarious kinds of communication and the problems in the process of projectmanagement and the adverse effects on the successful completion of the projectcaused, at the same time, from the internal organization structure analysis and internalcommunication management system on the existing problems are summarized, thereasons for these problems were found out. Aiming at these problems, put forward byoptimizing the design schemes of the south, and reservoir reinforcement project,starting from the design principles and guiding ideology, respectively, onorganizational structure, communication mode, communication channels and otheraspects of the improvement design, and emphatically proposes the project managerhow to improve some measures of the ability to communicate effectively.
