The Planning And Analysis Of Kunming Railway Logistics Enterprise Information Platform

Information platform is not only the basis and the essential foundations of the development of modern logistics, but also the "nerve center" of the logistics operations. In recent years, due to the requirements of customers, the enterprise development, the industrial competition and government guidance, logistics enterprises invest more on information technology in order to improve the level of Information platform. The degree of the information systems in the field of railway logistics enterprise is still at a relatively low level in China, hence it is time that we should do some research about the software to manage railway logistics enterprises. This paper plans and analyzes the management information system for Kunming railway logistics enterprise based on the background of Kunming railway logistics enterprise and theory of software designing.(1) System Planning:Based on Enterprise Systems Planning (BSP), this paper concludes the recent state of the Kunming railway logistics enterprise during the process of planning. Then we review the information flows from the supply chain management (SCM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and many other business processes. Identify the basic structure of the system platform. The platform can be roughly divided into six subsystems:the executive information subsystem, the decision supporting system, the subsystem of marketing management, the subsystem of operational management, the subsystem of financial management, the subsystem of human resources subsystem. All these functions can be accomplished in one platform. Unify the businesses from different departments to improve the efficiency of the business management and buttress the information sharing.(2) System Analysis:This paper analyzes the structure of the organizations of the enterprise, and furthermore analyzes the relationship between organizational structure and operations, the relationship between organizational structure and subsystems and sub-modules. Moreover,we study the procedure of business in the enterprise and draw business process diagrams to determine the demands of the system. Finally, data flow diagrams in different level are built up in order to determine the system’s data demands, business process demands and connections demandsThis paper plans and analyzes the information system of Kunming railway logistics enterprise for providing necessary theoretical preparations for the platform development in the future.
