Study On Reconstructing Urban-Rural Spatial Structure Of Panjin City

Along with acceleration of Chinese urbanization and advent of knowledge-based economy age, the countrywide structure will take large-scale regulation. The spatial structure of prefecture-level cities will enter a transformation period. In recent years, urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin City is accelerating reconstruction. There have been some problems in the process of spontaneous adjustment of the spatial structure and it is urgent to guide reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin City to adapt to the rapid development of the social and economic.This article insists on the research method of combining theory with practice, combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. Using economic geography, regional planning and so on, this article study the reconstruction of Urban-Rural spatial structure of Panjin City. This article is divided into four parts.Part one:The theoretical foundation of reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure was elaborated. Firstly, the meaning of restructure regional spatial structure is defined and correlative concepts are distinguished in the paper. Then the principal theories of regional spatial structure and urban-rural development were summarized and provide later study on reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city with a sound theoretical basis.Part two:The evolution of urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city was analyzed, which was divided into four stages, namely urban-rural settlements development stage, urban-rural low-quality balanced development stage, urban-rural multipoint disperse development stage and urban-rural central polarized development stage. It has been researched, analyzed and summarized that several factors, including nature, industries, transportation and policy, affected the evolution of urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city, and it pointed that future policy, Panjin port opening service, eco-tourism resource, agricultural resources and the adjustment of industry structure will be the main influential factors in urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city.Part three:The problems existed in urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city were analyzed from points to channels and to areas, which made future research of reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city more target-oriented.Part four:Reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city was studied. Based on former research, the necessity of reconstructing urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city was analyzed and a reconstructing target was set. The north-south strip group development model is more suitable for Panjin. Then it was adjusted urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin city from points to channels and to areas. Finally pattern of urban-rural spatial structure of Panjin was put forward.
