The Origin And Development Of Chinese Classical"Literator Landscape Garden"

Literator garden art in ancient China which has an extremely profound influence to later generations as the unique traditional culture is a shining pearl in the treasure of world culture. Combining previous research results, this paper aims at analyzing the interaction effect between social politics, philosophy, economy and literator garden to summarize the cause for emergence and development track of literator garden.Literator garden in China originates from Wei and Jin dynasties, develops in Tang and Song dynasties and springs up in Ming and Qing dynasties. As the development, it was evolving a complete culture system which is under the influence of the culture, philosophy and religion from the thoughts of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhist, and carried by the recluse thought, and blended in with artistic expression of landscape painting and poems.The creative opinion lies in that this paper does not only summarize the previous research results, but it inquiries into the inevitability and philosophic roots of literator garden, and presents the venation of literator garden and the relation between the one and the society and the development process of artistic methods by tidying the materials and site investigation. Moreover this paper investigated and analyzed the literator gardens with few records so as to enrich the theoretical results of literator garden’s study.
