Urumqi city is the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is politics, economy, culture, science and technology, information center and comprehensive transportation center of Xinjiang. And also is an important hub of Asia-Eurasia and an edge key open city. Due to rapid growth of traffic volume brought about by the rapid economic development, vehicle and large overload is serious. At present, Urumqi city road situation obviously can not meet the modern city transportation development, It is necessary to start a system research for Urumqi city road pavement structure.Based on the comprehensive survey, choose Urumqi representative road sections to take a investigation. Access to a large number of documents about road construction, various factors considered. Preliminary select reasonable pavement structure that available for Urumuqi. According to the geographical environment in Urumqi made road partition, investigate and analysis the state of the road pavement damage. Selected road using Beckman Beam Deflection Measurement, Carrying plate method to determine resilient modulus of the Urumqi various soil base. and bring the selected road drill core sampling return to the laboratory for analysis. According to the results, evaluated the use of the old road, analysis the causes of the damages. According to the basic principles of Asphalt Pavement Structure Design, Selecte commonly used local road construction materials to prepare the specimen in the the road scene compaction standard. Determine the design parameters of the common urban road pavement structure material(Resilient modulus and Splitting strength etc.),propose the range of urban road asphalt pavement structure materials design parameters. Analysis different combination of asphalt pavement structure and mechanical properties. Using the finite element software to analysis asphalt pavement structure of different combinations of mechanical parameters under the external conditions. Analysis the structural layer material should have mechanical characteristics. Different combination of pavement structure pavement structure parameters were intended assignment. Gives the corresponding analysis for changes in various parameters on road mechanics. Combined with the performance of the domestic and international Asphalt Pavement structure type and the subject analysis, Select fatigue model to estimate the performance of selected Road structure. At last, verify design results of application by active norms.
