The Planning And Design Of Expressway Network For Jinan

With the continuous development of China’s economic and social progress, The city’s economic power and people’s life have increased significantly, and along with the car shotting into households, motor vehicle ownership increasing rapidly. The urban traffic presenting the feature of "residents travel motorized", the traffic demand is also constantly improving. However, along with the rapid development of urbanization and regional integration, the urban population rapidly gathering, the phenomenon of "rural urbanization" is becoming prominent, therefore, the scale and scope of urban traffic is expanding and the regional traffic is also rising. In addition, a number of cities have put forward the idea of group development in the new round of urban planning, which is defibering the central city. Through planning and policy guidance, the relevant functions of central city may scatter to the surrounding area, but the resulting new traffic main body travels a longer distance, and transport is facing more and more challenges.Compared with the conventional urban road, Urban express way has advantages of mass, speed and high service level, so it is quickly known by people and provided a positive exploration in major cities at home and abroad. Experience suggests that the planning and construction of urban express way can not only realize that traffic main body can quickly arrive at each part of city and scatter the traffic of central area, but also avoid the transit traffic impacting on local traffic, thus it is helpful to improve the efficiency and quality of transportation and create a harmonious urban traffic environment. As regional transport channels, urban express way plays an irreplaceable role in guiding the optimization of urban structure and expanding the scope of radiation of the city.Based on the understanding features of express way, this paper investigates the construction of traffic infrastructure, the tendency of the vehicle and transportation, combined the urban overall planning in Jinan, Proposed the layout scheme of Jinan’s express way network. It aims to dredge the current traffic node and alleviate traffic congestion of central city, to ensure that the city among various activity centers have efficient transport links, hoping to provide a reference for the planning and construction of Jinan’s Expressway.
