In recent years, our country built a number of large span space structures, the span is more and more big, design is more and more complex. there are many problems in the construction. In this paper, we discuss on stress rule in the construction process of large span space structures through the numerical simulation analysis of mechanical behavior during the construction of steel awning of Yancheng stadium. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Stress analysis of construction stage in the installation process. The structure is installed and spliced together in accordance with the sequence of construction in the construction process, The stress in the process is different from the original designed state. We analysis the stress change rule of rod structure with a construction phase defined by software. It provide theoretical guarantees for safety and reasonable organization of construction.(2) The analysis of supporting structure. In the construction process of steel roof, temporary support played a supporting role in the construction. The support setting positions have an impact on the structural element stress. Through the comparison of various analysis of support setting schemes, we can discover the rule, select the optimal scheme, make the system stress reasonable and construction easy.(3) Selection and simulation of support structure system of unloading plan. The temporary supporting structure can be removed with the large span space structure’s steel roof completed. The temporary support unloading process is the process of redistribution of internal stress at the same time. Because the supporting force large, suddenly removed it impact on the structure badly, so we must determine a reasonable and reliable unloading plan. The system’s stress is reasonable theoretically in the synchronous proportion loading scheme, but it is difficult to guarantee the accuracy in the actual operation. The synchronous equivalent loading scheme’s each unloading amount is a certain value, good synchronization of convenient construction, changes in the structure of unloading process is relatively uniform, the support force no mutation. Subregional synchronous unloading scheme is the final scheme. By unloading the supports in different sections, it greatly reduced the number of lifting jacks needed. By adopting the equivalent unloading in every section, it reduced the space for unloading, which helped with arranging and organizing the construction, and thus reduced the cost.Some conclusions from the above analysis have certain guiding significance to the construction of the project, it also have a very good reference for the similar project.
