Accelerator control system is the brain and nerves of the accelerator. The controlobject is the high-speed particle beam which operate in vacuum tubes. The charactersof the control system such as stability, reliability and regulation resolution affectdirectly the operation of accelerator. In addition, with the long-term operation of theaccelerator, the historical data, real-time data and the calculation parameters willcontinue to increase, we need to design a rational database systems for the variety ofaccelerator data storage and management, and provide simple and convenientexperimental data acquisition methods.Accelerator control system database includes a real-time database and a relationaldatabase, real-time database is composed by the EPICS IOC database which runningin the front-end device, and the relational database is responsible for the acceleratordata storage and management. Oracle database is used in the large-scale acceleratorcontrol system for data storage. Including large number of historical data, staticparameters and management informations, the amount of information is huge and thedata type is complex. So, it requires well-designed database tables, procedures andmanagement, in order to ensure the database running efficiently.The paper s work is based on the THz-FEL equipment platform developed byInstitute of Applied Electronics of China Academy of Engineering Physics. Design theTHz-FEL database system, and includes three subsystems: data acquisition system,Oracle database system and data query system. According with the three subsystems,the work includes following three parts: 1. Analysis the THz-FEL equipment control system, have a particular research forthe system integration tool EPICS and its components, Computer communicates withthe equipment by serial port. The database of control system is designed by use ofVDCT, operator interface is developed with MEDM, and use the Channel Archiverdata archiving tools get the front-end IOC data. Complete the design of acceleratorcontrol system, and data acquisition system.2. By studying the structure of the Oracle Database, build the Oracle database onLinux system and setting the related parameters. Use the JDBC interface technologyto access the front-end IOC database. Analysis the THz-FEL equipment subsystemsand devices, designing a uniform naming rules and classifying the records, buildingtables for the accelerator system device and records.3. Describes the JSP dynamic Web technology and the structure and operationmode of Tomcat application server, analysis the processes and structures of the dataquery system,complete the design and implementation of data query system on Linuxplatform...
