In recent years,the Institute of Modern Physics has undertaken a number of construction tasks for heavy ion accelerator devices,such as Low Energy intensehighly-charged ion Accelerator Facility—LEAF,SSC linear injector SSC-LINAC,and Pearl River Linear Accelerator,PREF,SESRI and HIAF Project.The mission goal of the control system has changed from the original focus on the construction of one accelerator to the joint construction of multiple accelerators.The traditional division of labor and construction mode of the accelerator subsystem can no longer meet the needs of engineering construction well.It is necessary to standardize the accelerator process control technology and do related technical research on the system design method,development process,engineering implementation process.The construction tasks of multiple facilities can be completed in a limited time with high quality.According to the characteristics of heavy ion accelerator facilities,the basic composition is similar,mainly composed of ion source,low energy transmission line,radio frequency quadrupole accelerator,medium energy transmission line,high energy transmission line,synchronization ring and various terminals.Based on the completion of LEAF,SSC-LINAC and Pearl River Linear Accelerator,dissertation develops a universal IOC module and hardware design standard for accelerator process control based on EPICS,provides a standardized and modular design template for accelerator process control,and ensures the stability of the process control system.Under the premise of high performance and reliability,the software and hardware development and engineering construction period is greatly reduced.Dissertation analyzes the design method of accelerator process control system in detail,uses EPICS as the software architecture of LEAF,SSC-LINAC and Pearl River Linear Accelerator process control system,establishes ion source control system of LEAF,magnet power supply control system of LEAF and SSC-LINAC,vacuum control system and instrument control system of three projects,magnet temperature monitoring system,cavity state monitoring system and equipment safety interlock system of SSC-LINAC and Pearl River Linear Accelerator.The main technical achievements are as follows.Using protocol conversion,we unify the equipment hardware interface,and carried out modular package of IOC.We summarize the commonly used hardware equipment of accelerator process control system,carry out the electromagnetic compatibility test at the equipment level and system level,and formulate the process control system hardware design standardization process in accordance with relevant specifications,which has achieved good results.The overall stability has been greatly improved,which provides a standard for the construction of the accelerator process control system.The LEAF device,SSC-LINAC and Pearl River Linear Accelerator process control system we designed and constructed is modularity,high degree of standardization,simple and efficient maintenance and expansion.The system also has high stability and strong anti-interference ability,which can ensure the high-quality operation of the accelerator and provide a reliable guarantee for the device to reach the beam design.
