Research On Settlement Landscape Of New Countryside In Chongqing Metropolitan Region

The construction of Chongqing Metropolitan Region is an important comprehensive project in this city and even Western China. Its establishment and development will promote the economic growth of this region, and will have a tremendous impact on countryside landscape around. Rapid urbanization have been challenging the rural landscape, and have brought lots of opportunities at the same time. Therefore, it is urgent to carry on an in-depth study on New Countryside landscape in Chongqing Metropolitan Region.This paper is mainly about the thinking on rural settlement. Based on Chongqing Metropolitan Region, the background, the purpose and the significance of this research have been elaborated, and also the relevant concept and the content have been included. By the document methods, field research and inductive methods, the building mode of the new countryside settlement landscape has been explored. Taking the temporal and spatial development as the main line, this treatise concludes the domestic and foreign rural landscape theories, and analyzes the trends and prospects of our country’s rural landscape. Combined with town planning, rural tourism, architecture design theory, landscape ecology and sustainable development theory, it builds up the planning and design framework of settlement landscape of New Countryside in Chongqing Metropolitan Region.In this paper, the rural settlement landscape has been classified by different landscape elements. Started from the location, it introduces the layout types of rural settlement, and analyzes the different landscape of various types of land. It also tells how natural factor, social factor and economic factor affect the settlement landscape, and concludes the reason. Through the field research, it analyzes the whole landscape planning and design of rural settlement. In types of Chongqing rural land use, it analyzes the landscapes one by one, finds out the advantages and problems in temporal landscape construction, and finally concludes the challenges and opportunities in the future. Instructed by the rural research theory, this paper aims at solving the practical problems, and explains the basic planning and design rules of rural settlement landscape. It also brings the specific countermeasures on the integrity layout and the partial design so that the new countryside landscape, which is suitable for famers living and along with the development, could be built up in practice. At last, it explores the development and exploitation of rural tourism, and points out further study directions and assumptions.
