Comprehensive Evaluation Of Urban Rail Transit Services

After it completed the construction of MTR line, assessing and improveing the quality of service is becoming more and more important. Based on the analysis of features of urban rail transi service, refer to relevant research on service evaluation in marketing, established the urban rail transit service evaluation system, determine the index weight by AHP and frequency intercept method improved, and with the Chengdu Metro Line1as an example, test the evaluation system.The rapid urbanization process of China has led to the city overflowing with cars, to solve this problem, the strategy called " Public transport priority " was proposed. Urban rail transit as an important part of the urban public transport, and the operating system independent of the existing transportation system, so it can plays a prominent role to ease the traffic. To make a comprehensive evaluation of city rail transit service, finding the weak links in the service, so that the operating enterprise can be targeted to improve the quality of service of urban rail transit, will further improve the Passenger flow attraction of the urban rail transit, and share more ground transportation pressure.This paper first analyzed the intension of urban rail transit, the difference and relation between it and conventional public transport, the characteristics of urban rail transport services. It also introduced the purpose and connotation of evaluation for city rail transportation service.Secondly, on the basis of marketing and psychology research results, it analyzed how the traveler to choose the traffic mode, and divided the the passenger demand for means of transport into accessibility needs and convenient demand; meanwhile, according to the mechanism of system operation, divided the rail transit service into service structure, service process,service results. And base on the aforementioned theory. Index screening principle was determined.Thirdly, this paper analyzed various methods of index screening, and the method of index quantification and weight determination, introduced the method of investigation and data processing and evaluation model;in this part,it established the evaluation system of city rail transit service, and used the Delphi method to screen indexes and determined the weight of indexes in two or three layer, and used frequency intercept method improved to determine four layer indexes’weights.finally,used fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to get the final results.Finally, made a questionnaire survey about the passengers of Chengdu metro linel, and dealt with the survey data with SPSS. For the last part of this papar,it obtained the synthesis appraisal results of passengers on Chengdu metro linel by the principles of fuzzy mathematics,and analyzed the competitive advantages and disadvantages of metro linel, put forward suggestions for improvement.
