The history of the development process of the transportation industry is the increasing speed of the historical process, especially the past50years, with the economic development of countries around the world and the global people’s living standards continuously improve, travel conditions demand have gone up, so in the globalstarted within the "transportation revolution". During the revolution, the high-speed railway has become one of the countries of the world’s most prominent means of transportation, and successively put into operation by national R&D and the German ICE, French TGV and Japan’s Shinkansen high-speed rail structure. Based on the characteristics of the high-speed rail study for its use of the track structure on the basis of technical analysis and economic analysis, and draw conclusions.First, the article describes high-speed railway track structure selection and research of Japan, Germany, France and China; a brief analysis of the characteristics of domestic and international high-speed rail track and brief introduction of the project Overview by changsha-Kunming (Hunan).Second, the article details several different orbit concrete structures, the construction process as well as quality control points of the Passenger Line in China, and analysis the advantages and disadvantages combined with the specific circumstances of the project.Then, the article describes the track maintenance performance of ballasted and ballastless track in detail; and introduces engineering overview from the line profiles, the main technical standards, the number of major works, geology and engineering environment and has a comparative analysis of the Changsha-Kunming (Hunan) track adaptability,then draw conclusions.Finally, the article analysis the track selection from an economic point of view. Through examples elaborate how to use the LCC analysis economic studies of track structure selection, then concluded.
