Railway transport in China in terms of passenger and freight has been greatly developed. Especially in recent10years, fast development of high-speed railway in China has won the attention of all over the world. High-speed railway, with its large transport capacity, energy conservation and environmental protection, etc., as more and more national attention, has become the trend of the development of modern rail transport.The two aims of rail transit system are the safety and efficiency. And whether the operation of rail transit system can be safe and effective will depend largely on its operation performance of the control system. Train operation control system is the centre of the rail transport system, and it is based on safety as the most important technical conditions, it monitors the safe operation of the train and the speed. It is to ensure the safety of the train operation, and to improve the efficiency of the train running on the track as much as possible. This requires trains not only to keep the distance necessary to ensure safety, but also to shorten their distance as far as possible to improve operation efficiency. The overall technical solution of CTCS-3train operation control system calls for the train on passenger dedicated line that can realize the tracking interval of3minutes.In order to achieve the optimization control and to improve the efficiency of the train operation, it is necessary to build a simulation system for the tracing operation of high-speed train, which can be an effective substitute for field trials. This system can investigate the train operation control mechanism, and establish train operation track model and algorithm, and analyze the tracing operation of train.This dissertation carried on the system analysis and the design. Based on the analysis of train operation rule, the theory of train traction calculation and the mechanical model of the train, this dissertation established the calculation model for the time interval of the train tracing operation, deduced the calculation formula for the time interval of the train tracing operation under different circumstances. And the influence factors of time interval was obtained, which can help provide decision support for the design and retrofit of high speed railway and the train operation control strategy and optimization. Finally the dissertation proposed and built the model for the train slow down in advance.Based on the above theoretical research, this simulation system can carry through simulating the tracing operation of trains. Based on the analysis of the train operation control process and the control strategy of the train operation, the simulation model of the train tracking and operating was obtained, and it can simulate the train operation under the condition of the normal or limit speed. And according to the tracing interval time of the trains under the theoretical calculations, the simulation system can simulate the train operation, check the tracing interval time of the trains under the actual process, and verify the influence by the train slow down in advance. This simulation system can provide friendly GUI, intuitively show status of the signal equipment and train tracking, calculate the tracing interval time of the trains, and draw the curve of the train operation. Finally, the simulation result will show you that the system shorten the tracing interval time of the trains and improve operation efficiency by the train slow down in advance.
