At present, China’s high-speed railway in the actual operation by 5 minutes minimum tracking interval time, greatly limits the high speed railway transport capacity of further play, restrict the railway development, high-speed railway line as a breakthrough, in-depth study of the high speed railway 4 minutes or three minutes tracking facing the technical control of the problem and Research on the realization, it has theoretical and practical significance.Firstly on high-speed railway train tracking interval type and minimal tracking intervals were introduced and calculation, by tracking of various types of interval model and analysis of relevant data, summary of the high-speed railway in our country at the present time, in the 5 minutes tracing the cause and the limiting factors mainly include the following aspects:the EMU Technology conditions, emergency disposal method, line conditions, signal system and train arrival time interval.
