The Research On Landscape Design Of Chinese Style Residential Property In Changsha City

With the rapid growth of economic, the living standard of the public witnesses a dramatic increase. As the result of the policies of Chinese housing had been improved, the public began to focus on the landscape of their living environment. The trend of globalization promoted the exchanges between China and western countries, leaded to a phenomenon in Chinese market that all of the residential property in western garden styles are in the same mode. Nowadays, the individual pay more attention on our traditional and ethnic culture, as a result of the promotion of Chinese comprehensive strength and the growth of national confidence. Chinese classic garden, as the mother of the world landscape, has become a popular trend and a symbol of high-level life in the residential market.On the basis of theoretical research, the author of this thesis made an investigation of the landscape of the Chinese residential property in Changsha City from three aspects:themes, styles and images.
