Study Of Eco-design Method Based On North Rural Residential Mode

Housing construction in rural area has been long-standing and problematic, involving its issues of political, economic and social fields. With Chinese current development of rural rapid urbanization, as well as the rural-urban migration of massive natural and human resources, new aspirations were proposed in rural area, especially its changes in mode of production, lifestyle and family structure.In this paper, by research on both rural house mode and ecological energy-saving practice, model study was introduced to explore the application of conventional techniques and meanwhile to deduce a design method of dwelling units on the basis of function combination. Therefore farmers can select their residential types according to actual situations, so as to adapt to their production and lifestyles. In addition, the ecological experience of traditional rural house was extracted with the improvement and integration of appropriate ecological energy-saving techniques in rural house design, thus explore a northern rural eco-residential system.By further new rural construction and conversion to ’conservation-minded society’ and ’environment-friendly society’ of China as a whole, most villages and rural houses have abandoned the past mode, which completely follows the traditional, extensive but low construction levels or alternatively imitate urban housing construction, in case of new rural construction problems in design, construction and use. It has brought great pressure on environment and resources as old rural house construction mode has embodied its poor adaptability high energy consumption and serious waste of land, etc. In this context, research and construction on ecological, energy-saving and sustainable rural house, is of great importance that it would become a necessary path towards sustainable development in rural areas.
