With the rapid development of Chinese economy, an increasing numbers of high-tech companies choose to be located in a variety of major cities in China. As the entrances of these high-tech companies bring in a development to both the domestic economy and technology, it is worth nothing that they also raise the standard for design of buildings and relative facilities—especially the building fire protection design. Furthermore, as the utilization of new materials and technologies as well as a more stringent of technical norms both surpass the coverage of our domestic corresponding norms, a urgent need of research pertaining to these areas emerges.The special gas stack up yard with canopy is recently imported into China as warehouse buildings. A specific design basis is not available in GB50016-2006(Code for fire protection design of buildings). By analogy and comparison of relative foreign design specifications, this paper proposes a original insight into high-performance design of large-scale special gas stack up yard with canopy by an in-depth research of the case of Fab68factory of Intel, Dalian.
