Hydraulic pump is a significant element power to hydraulic system, whose function isto convert mechanical energy of prime mover into pressure energy of liquid, to provideenergy for the whole hydraulic system. The discretion of the hydraulic pump performance,directly impact the reliability and safety of the hydraulic system. Hydraulic pump type testbench is a very important device to the performance and quality of an inspection hydraulicpump, and any test on hydraulic pump is also an important process towards design anddevelopment of new product. Therefore, regarding the hydraulic pump test, it’s necessaryto have a test bench system with multiple functions, high precision on test and high degreeof automation.This paper completed by refer to large numbers of documents and books, acquiringthe latest development situation of hydraulic pump type test bench both in home andabroad, researching certain theoretical basis and foundation and making a series detailresearch and design on test-bed systems. According to requirements of hydraulic pumptype tests, the hydraulic pump type test system can be designed, and the controlledcharacteristic can be analyzed. This paper designed a hydraulic system circuit, with theelectro-hydraulic proportional control technology, the driver unit, loading unit, oil supplysystem circuit, oil temperature control and filtration system are the key points to beanalyzed. The main hydraulic components in test-bed hydraulic system can be chosen byseries of parameters of test-bed. With refer to Mechanical Industry Standard of the People’sRepublic of China and other relevant standards, combined with characteristics of test pumpand other relevant test requirements, test items and test methods have been researched,making a detail introduce about the content of test. Because the test need to be carried outunder different conditions, it’s probably to dispose a large mount of data. By using sensortechnology, all the data or parameter including pressure, flow rate and temperature, can becollected during test process, combined with the CAT, it’s possible to deal with the datafrom process. With the help of AMESim simulation software, simulated condition of test-bed systems can be analyzed, therefore, it can be proved that the hydraulic pumptest-bed fit for the original design.Through studying of simulation, the test result for hydraulic pump with different typefits for the relevant standard of state and design feature of hydraulic pump. The research onthe hydraulic pump in this paper will make a theoretical foundation on test-bed systems inthe future, play an important role in guidance.
