Reusing of old-industrial buildings has made remarkable achievements in recentyears, some old-industrial base like ShenYang, WuHan and ShangHai promote thelocal economy again. The reform and renewal without destroying the fabric of urbancontext and enviroment can effectively improve urban services and reflected theconcept of sustainable development. Now the reform of old-industrial buildings wasconfined to large cities or capital cities, a large number of old-industrial buildings insome small cities were abandoned in a corner, facing to be removed.This article is in the background of Low-carbon economy,choose ZhuzhouShifeng District as study object, discussed the basic method of old-industrial reuseand placed too much imphasis on the use of Low-carbon technology during the reformprocess of old-industrial buildings, then proposed some reform policies.Firstly,this article account for the research background and status of the oldindustrial buildings at home and abroad, through extensive reading of relatedliteratures, finishing the article framework.In the second chapter, we do field research on our study object-Zhuzhou ShifengDistrict, and make description of its industrial development and distribution status.In the third chapter, we summarize and analyze the domestic more tranditionaldesign concepts and principles.In the forth chapter, in order to improve the shortage of tranditionalold-industrial buildings reform, we propose Low-carbon technology should be usedduring reform.Finally, we back to discuss the real problem of old-industial buildings of ShifengDistrict and advance th0e reform strategy and ideas of old-industial buildings reuse.
