Planning And Construction Of Communication Network In Distribution Automation System

With the development of the national economy and society, the demand for electricity is rising.As an important means to improve reliability and quality of power supply, DA has become aninevitable trend of urban distribution network.Communication Network is an important part of DAS,the uplink to transfer the working information of RTU, the downlink to convey the operationcommand from control center. The communication network is a basic condition and importantfactor of DAS, its performance largely determines the pros and cons of the DAS. Therefore, how toset up an efficient communication network becomes an important research topic in the currentdistribution network construction.Based on the demanding analysis of DAS, the thesis describes the networking principle,networking models, and typical construction programs. This thesis proposes that the communicationnetwork could use hierarchical design according to the structure of DAS, and proves the feasibilityand practicality of the backbone layer and the access layer communication network constructionprogram. By researching the characteristics and the development trend of Puyang area distributionnetwork, this thesis gives the construction model of DA and matching communication networkconstruction program. The backbone layer uses existing SDH optical fiber transmission network.The access layer chooses EPON technology, and supplemented by3G technology. This constructionprogram has many advantages, such as reducing investment and having short construction period,so that it could set up an efficient and practical communication network for DAS.
