The Analysis Of Development And Characteristic Of Chinese Landscape Architecture Since The1990’s

Chinese Landscape Architecture has undergone the development of thousands of years, and it has gradually become Morden landscape Architecture that adapts to the period from Chinese Traditional Landscape Garden that we always talk about.Especially,since the1990’s,with the promoted pace of reform and opening up, rapid development of economy,innovation and progress of scinece and technology and the pouring in western culture,so chinese landscape architecture has started into a transformation peirod.First,this paper refers to methods of division of history into periods of historiograghy,the period of chinese landscape architecture from1840’s to nowadays divided into Recent Epoch(1840-1911) and Modern Times(1912--). Aad then the period of Chinese landscape architecture is divided into five sections:Growth period(1912-1949),Development period(1949-1966),Deadtime(1966-1976),Explore period(1978-1990),Development climax period(1990-).Secondly,the focal point of this paper is studying on Chinese Modern Landscape Architecture which period from1990’s last centry to nowdays.It systermatic discusses current situation、important landscape architects、design philosophy etc of the landscape architecture after the1990s and then summarizes some relevant characteristics:1.Expanding the domain of culture and emphasizing the type of culture landscape.2.Enlarging the implication of nature and enducing the prototype of Chinese landscape architecture is First Nature.3.Proposing the concept of El and being applied in practice.4.
