In the road engineering, reasonably using the broken beach gravel material aspavement materials can greatly reduce the excavation and the cost of transportation,make full use of local resources, save investment, shorten the construction period andprotect the environment. In this paper,research and analysis the broken beach gravelmaterial characteristics of raw materials, with normal aggregate test methods, anddetermined the raw materials’ physical properties which are meet the standards of《thehighway pavement construction technology the requirements》.Use the method of Surface vibration level filling to gradation design the brokenbeach gravel material of the cement stable macadam mixture, and use the method ofthe BeiLei to evaluate.Mineral aggregate particle shape, edges and texture features affect theperformance of the cement stabilized subbase Aim at the problems of the broken beachgravel materials fo Coarse aggregates angularity,this paper reference to the UnitedStates AASHTO and ASTM of determination method of edges, and put forward threeedges measurement method,there are the method of Coarse aggregates angularity rate,the method of coarse aggregate edges with sexual vibration gap rate and the method offlow time method, Verify the three measure coarse aggregate test results of edges andthe United States ASTM test results of edges and has good correlation, and testequipment is simple, the operation is convenient, more suitable to the on site for rawmaterials of edges of detection.The edges and corners of coarse aggregate of cement stabilized subbaseperformance to have a major influence, this article through in the coarse aggregateblending in different proportions of crushing grain content, design with different coarseaggregate edges of the broken beach gravel material of the cement stable macadammixture, the intensity, temperature shrinkage and drying shrinkage test, and the testresults of research and analysis, found broken beach gravel for material, when brokenparticle concentration is more than50%,, the broken beach gravel material aggregatecan form good skeleton, and show a good cement stabilized subbase way-useperformance.Finally, this paper puts forward some broken beach gravel material of thecement stable base construction technology and economic analysis.
