The landslider of the slope is a problem of engineering. It is influenced by many factors, in theses factors, rainfall is the main factor. This paper focuses on a study of the slope treatment project of Hefei Hei Chi Dam, through numerical analysis of finite element software MIDAS/GTS, simulationing different rainfall conditions to analysis seepage-stress coupling effect impactt on slope stability and according to current situation,slope reinforcement measures of governance is given, the main work and achievements are as follows:1. Summarizeing the research slope stability problem at domestic and abroad,then expounded the mechanism of slope rainfall infiltration and common method of seepage analysis, analyseing of two important parameters during rainfall infiltration.Based on the finite element software, two kinds of different conditions of continuous weak rainfall and short term heavy rainfall are established to study the variation of pore water pressure and transient saturated zone of slope.2. From the seepage analysis results show that short-term strong rainfall and weakly continuous rainfall, pore water pressure of slope presented increasing with the duration of rainfall. For short-term strong rainfall, as the rainfall intensity is much more than the saturated permeability coefficient of the soil, the transient saturated zone is formed on the surface of slope at the beginning of 1h. But continued weak rainfall A1 is not formed complete transient saturated zone. For A2, the transient saturated zone will appear in the whole period.3. The principle of finite element strength reduction method is mainly discussed in this paper, based on this method, the nonlinear elastic model of unsaturated soil slope is established and according to the characteristics of rainfall in Hefei area, the change law of the displacement and the maximum shear stress of slope under different conditions is obtained.4. For the rainfall conditions A1, adopting strength reduction and analyzing the results of model, according to slope stability discriminant rules, it is concluded that safety coefficient under the different time, compareing the advantages and disadvantages of three criteria.5. Introduceing the engineering survey, geological, hydrological conditions of treatment project of Hefei Hei chi Dam. Finding out the largest remaining landslide ofthe most section by using transfer coefficient method and then strengthening the anti slide pile by using geotechnical calculation software, which guarantees the stability of slope project.
