Fatigue Analysis Of Straddle-type Monorail Vehicle Bogie

The bogie of straddle-type monorail vehicles is two-axle bogie,frame is the keypart of the bogie,mainly used to install the tires,central suspension,traction,brakingdevices and other components.In the course of the campaign,bogie frame not only tosupport the body,but also to bear the vertical load of framework which is passed fromthe body to the air spring and to pass the traction,braking force which is between thebody and wheel to the track beam,the reliability directly impacts on the quality of thevehicle running and traffic safety.In recent years,some scholars had analysised thestructural strength and modal of the bogie of straddle-type monorail vehicle,but inorder to guarantee the operational security and verify the framework whether achievesthe required service life of fatigue,it is very important to analysis the bogie framefatigue life.In this paper, the bogie of straddle-type monorail vehicle in Chongqing No.3lightrail is the object of study,the first use of the finite element static model of a bogieframe,based on the related theory of life-cycle analysis method of finite elementanalysis,applicated fatigue analysis software and combinated with the load spectrum,tomake the fatigue life analysis of bogie frame.Followed by fatigue tests of bogie,mainlyapplicated the data acquisition system,runned the line on several operating conditionsto measure the stress signal,through data analysis and processing software to get theload spectrum and damage values of the measuring point,and then combined with thelinear cumulative damage theory to obtain the fatigue life of the measuring point.Thefinal test results are relatively close to the simulation results of the fatigue life and bothgreater than the life of the architecture,which verified the reliability of simulationresults.The subject of research on the fatigue life of straddle-type monorail vehiclebogie，provides a reference to simulation analysis for the fatigue of single-trackvehicles, fatigue testing, lightweight and comprehensively improves the operationalsafety of the monorail.
