The bogie frame is one of the most important parts of straddle-type monorail vehicle, the structure strength and the dynamic characteristics of the frame is very important to the safety and travelling comfort of the vehicle when it is in motion and doing business.Therefore, research status of the static and fatigue strength on straddle-type monorail vehicle bogie frame at home and abroad are analyzed,and basic ideas of finite element analysis, fatigue life simulation,and sensitivity analysis and other related theoretical prediction are analyzed in this paper.Finite element analysis is carried out on straddle-type monorail vehicle bogie frame which was jointly developed by a well-known domestic rail transit vehicle enterprises and Chongqing Jiaotong University.On the basis of sensitivity analysis,lightweight design has been carried out on the frame.The main work which has been done in this paper are as follows:Finite element model of the structure is established by using finite element analysis software.Static strength calculation and modal analysis are carried out on the straddle-type monorail bogie frame under typical loading conditions. The calculation results show that the maximum stress is less than the material yield limit,static strength meet the design requirement,low order modal shape of the structure is reasonable, the overall stiffness and the dynamic characteristics can satisfy the design requirement.Based on basic theory of life-cycle analysis, fatigue life of the frame is predicted using full life analysis method.Based on basic theory of sensitivity analysis,lightweight design of the frame is carried out.Finite element analysis of the frame is carried out after optimization,and results of optimization is reasonable.The results of this research in the paper has certain guiding significance for fatigue life simulation and lightweight design of the frame.
