| Granite has well hardness and wear resistance, be acidic and poor adhesion withasphalt, but reserves are widely distributed. How to effectively improve the adhesionbetween granite gravel and asphalt and reduce asphalt pavement cost in the place whichlack of hard alkaline rock asphalt become a serious problem to be solved by engineeringsector. This article comparative study amines, nano anti-stripping agent, cement threedifferent anti-stripping agent effect on the water stability of granite asphalt mixture, andfind new ways for engineering application of the acidic aggregate.Test granite adhesion by boiling method, the results show that the granite adhesionis improved when treat by water slurry, while the granite adhesion also significantlyimproved when the asphalt mix with amine or nano anti-stripping. Test the contact angleof asphalt in the surface of granite by lying drop method, the contact angle of asphaltmixed with anti-stripping agent less than the asphalt not mixed with anti-stripping agentat the same temperature, it indicate that anti-stripping agent increase asphalt spreadingin the granite surface.The water stability test results of granite asphalt mixture show that the waterstability performance of mixture has been significantly improved and meet thespecification requirements after mix anti-stripping agent.The residual stability ofmixture become94.7%after add0.3%nano anti-stripping agent into asphalt andimprove21%, the residual stability could still meet to90%after10days flooding, theTSR of mixture become99.4%and improve40%, the TSR still could still remained at90%after5freeze-thaw. The flooding rut depth of mixture is reduced, the dynamicstability increased by25%than asphalt mixture which is not doped anti-stripping agent. |
