With the construction of high-speed railway in China, China has gradually entered the ranks of high-speed rail countries. Along with the improvement of the high-speed rail technology, high demands are put forward to comfort because of the circumstances of high-speed train. The driving seat comfort is an important part of driver ability to maintain long normal traffic operations. Therefore, how to design a high-speed train operator comfort seat in line with China’s national and set up an effective evaluation mechanisms becomes a very important issue.From the aspect of the static comfort of seat, this paper research on the static comfort of high-speed train driving seat. The main contents of the research are as follows.Firstly, from the research of "High-speed train driving seat satisfaction questionnaire" directed at the drivers works in the railway Beijing-Tianjin, Shanghai-Nanjing, Wuhan-Guangzhou, We get the result that the main factor of high-speed train driving seat comfort are seat adjustable parameters, seat surface profile and seat materials. From the point of view of seat surface profile, use20people to test the Body pressure distribution aimed at two different types of high-speed train driving seat. At the same time, use the subjective questionnaire survey to score the seat’s static comfort. Further studies the main factors influencing the static comfort the driving seat. We got that cushion the leading edge of the shape of the backrest lumbar curvature are the main factors for high-speed train driving seat static comfort.Secondly, the relationship between test data and subjective evaluation were done in order to get the body pressure distribution, Establish a high-speed train driving seat static comfort evaluation model based on BP neural network algorithm.12body pressure distribution indicators and two anthropometric indicators as an evaluation model input, output for the static comfort score. Select32samples as the training sample, the remaining8samples to validate the model and results show that the model can achieve the forecast evaluation seat static comfort needs. Establish a human body seated pressure distribution simulation model based on the finite element analysis method in Madymo software. The simulation selected the50th finite element dummy. Simulation results were compared with experimental results, demonstrated the feasibility of this method. Finally, put forth8seat outlines design projects based on the above result. Using the body pressure distribution model which is based on the finite element method predict the body pressure distribution, and take the use of the static comfort evaluation model to evaluate the static comfort. The results showed the feasibility of our model, and can provide effective way for the seat initial comfort design.
