In the modern city residential commercialization today, people to meet the needs of residential space not only in a safe haven to stay home, but on this basis, to choose and buy the house they like, of course, the quality of the house also had higher demand. In the face of the person that buy a house to the improvement of living space, their is no doubt that it is certainly a higher challenge to the architects and interior designers, they will according to the user’s physiological and psychological demand for housing design to meet the needs of different users.With the continuous development of society and progress, the national living standard improved, but for special groups living environment problems still need more attention. Especially the aging problem in China is becoming more and more serious, for the elderly care should pay more attention to. how to let the elderly have a, an old lady living environment is an urgent problem to be solved. Not only is the elderly, and some special groups, including children, disabled people also need public groups of concern, they also need a convenient, comfortable living space.The development of universal design can solve difficulties and problems for this kind of special groups. Universal design principle is "people-oriented", for the different age groups, different residential health users provide convenience to meet the different needs of various people, do anyone can freely use.The main research object of this paper is the children, the elderly and the disabled people, through their psychological and physiological characteristics of the analysis of the deficiency of the common living space complement adjustment, make special group can be like normal person living, so as to achieve the purpose of general living space.
