Architecture In Films And Their Relationship Between Reality Architectural Design

One of the topics which people most interested in today, is how to combine thearchitectural design and other art design techniques. Architects are trying to usemusical elements in architectural design or express the poetic beauty byarchitectural space, etc. There naturally also includes film art. Among all the contactsthat generated by architecture and film, the fictional construction appearing in film isan extremely important one. Through film art, in every different ages, it alwaysreflects the generation’s understanding of the architecture, and the imagination forfuture architecture. The architecture in these films also have a unique architecturalsystem of their own, to say the least, a complete characteristic architectural history.which is more important, their existences are also providing endless inspiration andmotivation for the realistic architecture’s development. Moreover, due to the filmbuilding is virtual, compare with the real building, therefore, they are more close tothe ideal condition, so the film building always influence the architecture.This thesis, will firstly summarize the generating and the developing process ofthe buildings in these films, classify them by their basic types and presenting styles,then correspondingly analyze their influence to architect’s design and architecturalstyle in reality respectively, meanwhile, outlook on future architectural trends fromthe perspective of film.
