| With the improving of people’s living standard, owning a car is becoming more and more common in China. People’s concern on driver seat is running high, especially its safety and driving comfort, which is also the main issue that domestic and international car seats study on.Seat safety includes two sides, which are static strength and dynamic strength. Driver seats static strength refers chiefly to seat frame strength and the head-rest strength in static load, while dynamic strength properties is the seat system’ability of energy absorbing and reducing users’injury under impact load. The main work of this task is to design a new type of automobile driver seat frame structure, and to do simulation analysis to its static and dynamic strength properties. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, it introduces the relevant reference factors and process of driver seat design, and builds a3D geometrical model of a new type of automobile driver seat in CATIA software. The thesis emphatically describes the process of structure design of the driver seat lumbar support device.Secondly, the finite element model of this new type automobile driver seat skeleton is set up with Altair HyperMesh software. This model consists of25517elements, including25278shell elements,227rigid elements and12beam elements. The shell elements consist of24744quadrilateral elements and534triangular elements.Finally, at the command of domestic and foreign regulations on automobile seats system static strength, head restraints static strength, head restraint post-displacement and the property of the energy-absorption ability of the head restraint, the property of driver seat system static strength, back frame static strength, head restraint static strength and head restraint post-displacement are analyzed in OptiStruct software, and the property of the energy-absorption ability of the head restraint is analyzed in LS-DYNA software. The results of above analysis show that the new type automobile driver seat structure and its finite element model are reasonable. |
