Research On Helicopter Flight Simulation System

In recent years, the helicopter has played more and more important function in military and civil aviation than other aircrafts, and many countries are all strongly developing a new helicopter in the world. The abroad development of helicopter simulation system start earlier and there is very abundant experience. Domestic research of helicopter simulation is more and more concerned, but the developing simulation system still exist some problems, such as single function and low simulation level.Basing the project "The study of one helicopter flight simulator", the research of helicopter simulation system is developing systemically and deeply. The research contents are:(1) Three main coordinate used force analysis and conversion method for coordinate are studied basing project requirement, and flight dynamic model of helicopter is built.(2) Runge-Kutta method having high precision is chosen to satisfy reliability and accuracy of simulation system,(3) Software of data-base of Helicopter3D flight scene and environment model is designed to satisfy the visual need of system, and visual system is set up.(4) Basing Visual C++6.0software, frame of helicopter simulation system is designed, code of software is compiled, the problems in code compiling such as manipulating simulation and multi-video control are analyzed and solve methods are given.(5) The test is carried on helicopter flight simulator, and flight data is gained. It is proved that performance index of simulation system satisfies technology demand of project.The research work in paper has important reference value to future work of helicopter flight simulation.
