Comprehensive Passenger Transport Terminal is an important node in thecity’s public transport system, are responsible for the various modes of transportationbetween Transferring. It is a higher population density area, the unexpected incident,prone to pedestrian stampede phenomenon, causing major safety accident, may bringenormous loss of life and property. Only the timely, accurately grasp the running stateof Terminal, instability suppression system operation, can guarantee transport terminalservice function fundamentally in normal play, improve the transport terminaloperation safety and efficiency. In order to meet Terminal’s efficient and stableoperation of the needs, real-time monitoring of running status of the ComprehensivePassenger Transport Terminal become an important element of transportationplanning studies.The idea of this research is: using the integrated use of both domestic and foreignresearch results, multi-disciplinary theoretical knowledge to practical data, as thesupport, through the analysis of the relationship between integrated ComprehensivePassenger Transport Terminal of the people stream macroscopic parameters, operatingcharacteristics of pedestrian flow, using the catastrophe theory model to be identifiedto determine the pedestrian flow abnormalities state critical threshold, establishing theComprehensive Passenger Transport Terminal pedestrian flow safety pre-warningsystem, and through an example of the pre-warning system for analysis. The mainresearch content of this paper is as follows: First, to explain the background andsignificance of the thesis topics summarized research at home and abroad. The paperanalyze the passenger flow characteristics, the selected speed, density and flow asresearch object, the macroscopic properties of the influencing factors analysis ofpedestrian flow, to explore the relationship between the pedestrian flow macroscopicproperties of parameters. Secondly, on the basis of the catastrophe theory to analyzethe feasibility of the Catastrophe theory identify pedestrian flow state, and theestablishment of pedestrian flow running state cusp catastrophe model, the model is amore detailed interpretation of analysis, to explore the process of change of thepedestrian flow state, solve the model and the actual survey data to validate the modelThen, the analysis of pedestrian flow characteristics of sudden abnormal accident,targeted pedestrian flow safety pre-warning system work, and the various subsystems of the pre-warning system in detail, and analysis of the various sub-the details of thesystem and methods of work, according to the relationship between the varioussubsystems, summed up the pre-warning system workflow.Finally, choosing the Liaoyang Comprehensive Passenger Transport Terminal asan example, made a detailed description of the process of pre-warning systems.According to the Terminal’s facilities within the layout and pedestrian entry and exitflow line and replaced flow line to generate pedestrian flow line, according to theprinciple of information collection device layout to set up pedestrian informationcollection equipment reasonably, simulating the pre-warning process ofComprehensive Passenger Transport Terminal with simulation software AnyLogic.
