In recent years, domestic universities generally vigorously build new campus construction, followed by replacement of function and redistribution of space of existing buildings in old campus. Among the existing buildings, there is a majority built during the1970s and1980s that before the promulgation of building energy efficiency standards. Because of the limitation in terms of economy, society and other factors, they generally have been lacking energy efficiency in buildings. Meanwhile, the spatial layout is difficult to meet the new requirements brought by constant development of teaching, research, office activities, thus it is an urgent need to renovate in terms of function, space, and the physical environment. With the sustainable development policies and building a conservation-oriented society has increasingly become a consensus today, more and more people pay attention to a positive protection in renovation and re-use the old school building. The goal of this design project is to renovate YiFu Art Building of Nanjing University that its original space and comfort of interior is difficult to meet the current requirement. Therefore, the first step replace and renovate the interior functional space without destroying its original structural system. After preliminary renovation, a reasonable strategy to improve indoor ventilation and shading is proposed based on the simulation analysis of airpack and ecotect. Finally through authentication of the impact of indoor lighting and ventilation, the most ideal renovation strategy of facade is selected. In this project, renovation is designed in terms of the correlation of site, physical environment, ventilation and lighting and the optimized renovation strategy is selected by comparison analysis. This graduation project is divided into four chapters, the first chapter is Project Overview, which introduces the site and background, and analyzes and maps the existing building. The second chapter describes the renovation strategy of old buildings with new functions, analyze the possible applications of sustainable technologies in old buildings and analyze some famous precedents of sustainable renovation of old buildings in China. The third chapter introduces the design process that how to select the optimized strategy to save energy by simulating and analyzing in airpack and ecotect in terms of site, building, surroundings and indoor physical environment. The fourth Chapter shows the final design. The whole thesis contains about8000words,14pictures and charts. |
