As the Mineral processing waste, especially fine iron tailing sand is the main part ofindustrial solid wastes. Iron tailings stockpiling bring a large number of problems aboutresources, environment, safety, land and so on. Iron tailings can be used building materials,not only solve many problems such as Tailings are difficult to be used, low added value,transport limitation, but also can effectively alleviate environment pollution andenvironment destruction.The paper mainly researched the fine iron tailing sand preparation, strength anddurability problem, based on a large number of experimental data. Through induct, sum upand analyze the data、, it is concluded that’s the optimum proportion of fine iron tailingsbrick of raw materials. It also researched the durability of the tailing brick in the freezingand thawing under corrosion condition, bearing capacity of the tailing brick masonry andso on. Specific work and achievements are as follows:(1) Focus on the study of the fly ash, lime on tailing brick strength influence. Theconsumption of raw materials and make the different mixing ratio design, Preparation of9groups of samples, each consisting of3pieces. In standard curing condition for28daysAfter conserve each test block was compressive and flexural strength test Recording anddata analysis, Find different raw material mix ratio on compressive strength and flexuralstrength indexes, get the optimum proportion for: P.O42.5ordinary Portland cement, tailsand, fly ash, gypsum, the percentage of water reducing agent was12%:75%:10%:2%:1%water,11%ash material consumption.(2) Simulate the deicing salt freezing environment, studies the test block durability.Using the solution of calcium chloride simulated winter deicing salt on the corrosion oftailing brick. Use freeze thaw cycle test machine to test blocks of freeze-thaw cyclePreparation of specimen in18groups, a total of54blocks. Study on Corrosion offreeze-thaw and under the condition of function blocks durability. During the test, the compressive strength and flexural strength of many aspects such as detection, get blockintegrated durability index were tested.(3) Study of tailing brick masonry bearing capacity. Preparation of the forming oftailing brick and form the tailing brick masonry structure, local bearing capacity andhorizontal bearing capacity of the experimental research, get masonry structure of localbearing capacity and displacement field and so on, as a result, analysis of tailing brickmasonry can satisfy the bearing capacity requirement.
