Masonry structure is one of the most extensive and frequently used structures in building industry in our country at present. Its rate in civilian resident building is above 90%, and about 80% in whole building industry. There are many advantages in masonry structure but also some shortcomings, such as lower intensity, big weight, lower binding property between block and mortar, and without so good properties of tension, bending resistance, shearing strength resistance, earthquake resistance and globality. Now, application of reinforced masonry has become the tendency in the field of masonry structure engineering now. This paper conducted bearing capacity test under the vertical and local loading on 18 level net reinforced masonry and 6 plain masonry to find out their bearing capacity under local loading, their distortion performance, their damage form, the distortion performance of steel rod under local loading and its function in coordination with mortar. Through local loading test, this paper studied the rate and location of steel in improvement of masonry local loading property with reinforced network. And the paper analyzed the improving parameter and the middle distortion performance under local loading.Making use of the advantages of finite element program ANSYS, we find out the effect of all parameters (mortar intensity, brick elastic modulus, rate of steel rod in brick, location of steel rod) to the bearing capacity of reinforced masonry. Through loading analog computation of reinforced masonry in whole process, we analyzed the distribution...
