| With a further advancement of China’s urbanization process, urban complex, byvirtue of its special value and highly integrated functions, gradually became the mostdynamic and popular public space in cities. China’s urban complex is still indeveloping stage, and there are some problems and deficiencies particularly in thedesign of urban complex outdoor environment. The problems such as the monotonousform factor, the lack of coordination between urban complex outdoor environmentand urban space, and the lack of thinking about human behavior. There is an urgentneed for a comprehensive, professional theory to guide the practice of outdoorenvironmental design of urban complex.The subject of this thesis is about outdoor environmental design of urbancomplex. On the basis of the evolution and designing method of outdoor environmentof urban complex, through the researches in the functions and development trend ofoutdoor environment of urban complex, and combining multi-disciplinary knowledgesuch as environmental behavior, psychology, consumer psychology, organizationalbehavior, etc, the thesis explored the difficulties and contradictions in the design andusage of outdoor environmental design of urban complex, sought effectives ways forcoordinating and resolving these problems, and scoured suitable positions and counterplans for architects in doing this.The thesis referred to numerous and detailed information and formed an integralresearching process with concept analysis, historical research, current situationanalysis, concept renovation, construction methods, and description with examples.Firstly, based on a clear understanding of the concept and meaning of evolvingoutdoor environment of urban complex, a pre-guidance of the problems of currentconstructions, and an analysis of influencing factors of outdoor environmental designof urban complex, we arrived at the general features and design principles of this kindof environmental design. Secondly, with an anatomy in the space and environmentaldesign of outdoor environment of urban complex, a combination with the newestresearch findings of relevant disciplines, and an in-depth analysis of theinterconnection and interaction of various fields in each phase of outdoorenvironmental design of urban complex, we obtained a renewed design idea which ispractical and operatable. Finally, relying on a close link with the particularity of urban complex according to the knowledge about the architecture externalmorphology, outdoor transportation, outdoor commercial space, external environment,etc, a mastery on hommization and integrity, and a strong emphasis on thematicdesign, boundary blur, and existing urban space transformation, we raised universaldesign tactics for outdoor environmental design of urban complex. |
