| The needs of people produce motivation, and the motivation lead to the occurrence of behavior.Therefore, in the design process, we can not ignore the needs of user’s and their behavioral tendencies, and we can not remain indifferent to predict the future behavior of the user’s tendency to take measures to prevent problems which may arise, and pay attention to those problems.This article focuses on the urban public space, especially the problems in the park green space environmental design. In the modern city life, people’s material needs to be basic to meet with the improvement of material life, however, the level of demand begins to rise, what is more in pursuit of spiritual and cultural needs. So, in order to explore the active space of a landscape design countermeasures, the author mainly in respect of the spiritual needs of the people for exploration research by literature reviewing, field researching and summarizing.Through the investigation of Huan hua xi park in Chengdu, the author learned that,with the changes in consumer attitudes in today’s society, people use the concept of urban public space has also been quietly change, which requires designers’perception of space to be more sensitive, and to explore a new form of space in line with modern requirements. The survey showed that the spirit of the people of different ages have need differently, and during the design process, the designers can not ignore this problem, which should be targeted for research and design. Through the research of Huan hua xi Park, the four types of the weight value of the spiritual needs, front to back were:comfort needs, affiliation needs, aesthetic needs, growth needs. Combined expert ratings with the public score, the degree of attention on the evaluation factors from the high to low sort by:air freshness, climate comfort, public spaces, natural scenery, local customs, arts and entertainment, science education, history learning, semi-public space, the form of space, landscape art, semi-private space, private space, the sound of pleasure, scientific investigation. Division of the weight of the spirit of the people’s hierarchy of needs, are good to understand the environmental needs of the user’s in the public space from the humane point of view, and also can provide some reference for future design work.At the same time, observed and recorded in the various spaces of Huan hua xi Park by author, come to the causes and characteristics of the part on the formation of positive space in a public environment, so as to provide reference information for future design work:(1) Space features can gives people the profound intention of the environment. To create space for the enthusiasm to make the user have a profound environmental intentions, must be given the space their own characteristics, local conditions, and tap the potential of the site itself;(2) The diverse functions. In a separate space, features clear, while both have functions of traffic, transition and rest, and close contact with other space, and convenience to come and go;(3) beautiful natural environment. The natural scenery in the city is deficient, so people eager to get close to. In a positive space to create a beautiful natural environment is indispensable;(4) The space is flexible and have strong capacity. Space in various forms, the use of all kinds of people to meet the needs;(5) people have something to do, have the reason to stop. Space can guide the spontaneous activities.Finally, for the needs of people of different ages, and have combined with those of the popular space feature of the landscape design of the active space countermeasures were discussed and recommendations for improvement. |
