With the rapid development of computer technology, network communication technology, substation automation technology has made great strides.In recent years, ultra high voltage, large capacity, large system grid gradually formed a strong power grid, security, stability, reliability, control, and information exchange more urgent requirements.Development of substation automation technology, is a deepening digitization process, through the full application of computer and network communication technology, to achieve the primary equipment intelligent, network communication, information sharing, operation and management of scientific and related fields common technology integration, technical specifications and standards of perfection, and thus constitute a trend all-digital substation automation system.In this paper, the key support of the digital substation technology do in-depth research, mainly for the following aspects of work:1,the basic characteristics of unconventional transformer.
