| Along with the rapid development of economic, the vehicle population continues to increase,the problem of traffic and environment increasingly stands out, which perplex the city. According tothe city traffic jam becomes more and more serious and the air quality is deteriorating, many citiestake various ways to limit truck traffic to balance the traffic flow and alleviate congestion. Althoughthe means of limiting truck traffic has some effect to improve urban traffic, but also trigger a seriesof negative problems, such as increasing the logistics cost and the price. However, if themanagement is improper, not only failed to ease congestion, but will deteriorate further urban trafficand the urban environment, it will be against the original intention of limiting truck traffic. Therefore,to alleviate congestion, improve the urban environment, and improve the level of people livelihood,it has important practical significance to do research to the city truck traffic management, take intoaccount the interests of all parties, worked out the scientific management measures.Based on the examples and experience of the domestic and foreign relevant city management oflimiting truck traffic, this paper took Chongqing as research object, inquiried the situation ofChongqing urban truck traffic management, the truck traffic type, the main road traffic compositionin representative sections, speed and city freight distribution and demand. Analyzed the operationcharacteristics of truck traffic and the key management area of limiting truck traffic in Chongqing,put forward the truck traffic classification methods according to van service functions, and putforward the suggestions from the organization measures, economic means and the technical levelthree levels on the truck traffic management countermeasures in Chongqing. Just as research above,the author took the sections as research object, which is from North Ring Interchange to West RingInterchange in Chongqing inner loop expressway, analyzed the the freight stations distribution andthe traffic flow characteristics of this sections service area, put forward some suggestions on limitingtruck traffic and supporting service measures, and analyzed the influence of limiting truck traffic. |
