Chongqing City in2010, growth in number of motor vehicles more than20million vehicles, traffic congestion began to run, began to highlight parking problems.Chongqing New Northern Zone is the main development zone in Chongqing city, city northward expansion of the core region, is the important part of Liangjiang New Area. It’s motor vehicle development is more swift and violent, parking problem is highlighted particularly. Parking chaos greatly affect people’s normal life, to solve the parking problem has become particularly important.First of all, this thesis attempts to carry out a systematic study on the parking problems of. By means of questionnaire and investigation, this study explores the status quo of parking in Chongqing New Northern Zone. Secondly, based on these materials available, this paper summarizes the existing problems. Finally, on the basis of the prediction of parking demands, From the supply of parking, parking and parking policy three respects put forward a strategy to solve the parking problem of Chongqing New Northern Zone.The results of the study can be used for reference for the solutions of parking problem, which have a certain theoretical and practical significance and value.
