Hydraulic excavator is a typical, complex, conditions, having a very wide range ofconstruction machinery. Now it has been widely used in industrial construction, waterconservancy and power engineering, urban construction, and mining and other occasions etc.In recently years, With the rapid development of the domestic construction machinery industry,hydraulic excavator has a great improvement whether from quantity to quality. The coretechnique of excavator is the design of hydraulic systems. Because of the poor workingconditions and its complicated movements, So it has a high requirement for its hydraulicsystems. And its hydraulic system is the most complicated one in all the constructionalmachines. Therefore, having a analysis and research on its hydraulic system has become a veryurgent prospect subject.In this paper, Firstly, we have a comprehensive collection on the basis of the informationof the excavator hydraulic system at home and abroad. and understand the history of thedevelopment of the excavator hydraulic system. The development trend of excavator in thefuture also was introduced. Secondly, The paper has a analysis on the composition of thehydraulic excavator characteristics, operating procedures and the basic method. and excavatorhydraulic system requirements are analyzed. We have a summary on the basic circuit of theexcavator hydraulic system. and classify the hydraulic system according to different way. Theexcavator hydraulic control technologies are studied analyzed the principles andcharacteristics of the hydraulic control system.Finally, Because of domestic small and medium-sized excavator manufacturers also donot have a complete system, many parameters are in the stage of imitation optimization, thepapers have a calculation and verification combined with a specific brand of excavator machineand provides a theoretical foundation for the overall design of later excavators. At last, thepaper has a summary and outlook.
