| With the development of society, the construction of residential garden project will be more. Nowadays, the residential landscape construction is not much.To improve the residential landscape construction level, we would have to improve the residential area landscape design level first. This is purpose that I engaged in the study.The thesis uses the ways of summaring.Firstly, the research makes a vertical and lateral comparison of all types of residential landscape designs through the ages in China. In specific, it analyses characteristics and styles of residential landscape designs in different times.Secondly, the thesis makes a thorough study and analysis on the theoretical part of landscape designs in residential areas such as the conceptions, layouts, topographic features and principles, exhausting the influences of all sorts of landscape design ideas on the styles and contents thereof, the correlations among all kinds of topographic features, layouts and landscape designs. Thirdly, the thesis carries out a systematic research in all spheres of landscape designs in residential areas, taking for examples the constructions, greenery, waterscapes, alleys, entrances, sculptures, ornaments, courtyards and lamps in gardens. The thesis also explains the basic techniques and conceptions for landscape designs, methods for innovative designing of the above constructions, and the relations among all spheres of landscape designs in residential areas.Fourthly,the thesis is based on the researches of the aforesaid three parts, cites practices of landscape design in residential areas for further explanation and study either by applying theories and achievements of modern landscape designs to practices of designing gardens in residential areas or by conducting on-the-spot investigation. The end of the thesis summarizes all integrant parts, methods and latest conceptions of landscape designs in residential areas based on the aforesaid researches. And hope that it can help the practitioners. |
