In the design of modern vehicle structural the CAE method obtained the widespread application, and the finite element analysis method is one of the most universal CAE technologies, the finite element analysis method may reduce the product development cycle, reduces the expense, enables the new product to have the competitive power. Take the ANSYS software as the analyzing platform this article uses the finite element analysis technology, carry on the analysis and the appraisal to conceptual design’s bus skeleton and then optimize the bus skeleton performance. In addition, the skeleton is the bus’s main load bearing, the bus skeleton occupies about1/3in complete bus’s equipment quality. Therefore bus skeleton’s lightweight design has the very vital significance to reduce vehicle’s quality.The author takes some company’s conceptual bus as an example, uses the ANSYS software and uses the APDL language programming in the entire journey, has carried on the parametric modeling to the bus skeleton structure, has established bus skeleton’s simplified model, carried on the complete bus’s modal analysis, carried on statics analysis under the curving operating mode and the left and right twisting operating mode, referred to the existing bus skeleton’s rigidity and the intensity evaluation criteria the author has found that the design’s insufficiency is that the complete bike’s reversing rigidity is just insufficient. In order to meet the design needs. First, under the premise of satisfying the intensity request, the important natural frequency request and other rigidity request, through carries on the judgment to the related parameter’s related sensitivity, scientifically selects the model’s partial parameters as the optimization design variable, has achieves the first optimized goal that the rigidity achieves the design requirements.
