In the last20years power electronics has been advanced rapidly, and widely applied to the fields of electric power, metallurgy, chemicals, telecommunications, coal. In the application field of power electronics, rectifiers have been used in most converter devices. The conventional rectifiers produced problem of harmonics pollution in power system. Due to the merits of pollution-free, adjustable power factor and bin-direction power transfer, three-phase Voltage Source Rectifier has aroused widespread concern at home and abroad.In this paper, the problem of harmonics pollution and the researching current situation of rectifier is introduced. Then principles of three-phase Voltage Source Rectifier is explained, its topology is also analyzed, based on these its mathematical model is essential to set up, including the three-phase static coordinate system, αβ static coordinate system and the two-phase synchronous rotating coordinate system. Acording to mthematical models control theory the simulation model has alse been built, which received some results and waveforms. The simulation results confirmes that the Voltage Source Rectifier in this thesis realized the objective of sinusoidal input currents, unity power factor, steady output DC voltage and bin-directional energy flow.Based on the above-all simulation results, PWM Rectifier experimental device has been designed, including main circuit, control circuit, A/D sampling in-phase circuit and driving protecting circuit, its hardware was designed around the TI’s TMS320F2812processor. The paper uses the idea of modular design and analyses the idea of desining of the main controlling program and the operating procedures of the program, it also introduces the method of realizing SVPWM. According to system performance and control algorithm requirements the author makes the setting of IGBT, inductance and capacitance. At last, experimental results are presented, as well as the analysis of them.
