The Chinese Government has brought forward as a national strategy theIndependent Innovationμ since2006, which aims to encourage Chinese enterprisesto develop technology innovations, and to possess their own core competitiveness andintellectual property rights; as a large state-owned listed company of domestic market,China Merchants Holdings(International) has responsibilities as well as obligationsto develop independently its own innovations, so as to possess products withindependent intellectual property rights; as the core business and interests of ChinaMerchants Holdings(International), the container terminal is wherein the key node ofthe entire shipping logistics chain, the operational efficiency and budget control ofwhich may produce direct impacts to the effectiveness and profit level of the entirelogistics chain. As the only R&D division of China Merchants Holdings(International) upon research of container terminal operating system, ChinaMerchants Holdings (International) Information Technology Company Limitedundertakes research of the core system of all the docks within China MerchantsHoldings (International). Therefore, it represents important theoretical values andpractical effects to study and optimize the entire R&D procedures with practicalexperiences on a mature management workflow for productization development of the operating system of container terminal, as well as shortening the cycle andreducing the costs of implementation of each container terminal.In addition, based on China Merchants Holdings(International) that its owninternal management demands and development, urgent need Unifi Inc interior eachcontainer terminal operation and management system, to achieve overall intensivemanagement objectives.This thesis bases on actual development and implementation status of containerterminal for many years, makes up an architecture suitable for various types ofcontainer terminal, synthesizes several reusable public components and summarizesin terms of business aspects, series of configurations adaptable to different terminalactivities at the same time, design and development of a completely independentproperty rights, and can adapt to the current domestic and international containerterminal operation management needs of TOS system; in addition due to thereasonable ingenious, and forward-looking design, which largely reduces the R&Dbudgets and the implementation costs at a later stage of new container terminal,aiming to take steadily a big step to productization of operation system of containerterminal...
